Grillfire RVC

Genre: American
Price: Medium
Service: Slow

Grillfire is an American genre. It a cute little place located in RVC. It is very small inside, so if you don't like small place do no go there.  To start off they serve you a bread basket with bread, pretzels and honey mustard.  The pretzels were good because they were different but the bread was typical bread.  The menu has a varied of meals to offer from steaks, to burgers to sandwiches.

Bar: The bar is a typical bar and has a varied of liquors, and beers.  They have a very short wine list.  If your looking for finer wines, this is not the place to go. They have good happy hour specials

Apps:  Grillfire had a small variety of apps.  One special they had chili pop calamari.  It was delicious.  The portion is not too huge so you won't be stuffed after you eat it.  They don't always have these calamari but they have popcorn shrimp made the same way.

EntrĂ©es:  I got a the Kobe Black Label burger.  I can sum it up in one word.  DRY.  I didn't eat the meat because it was so dry.  For the $14 it was definitely not worth it.  The french fries were crispy and decent.

Dessert: Poor excuse for a molten lava cake.  Basically, it is a piece of bake chocolate sponge cake topped off with a a chocolate ganche.  There was nothing inside.  Definitely not recommended.

Summary:  If you are going there for happy hour to get drinks and an app it is recommended but for dinner and dessert your better off going to a Fridays because its a lot cheaper and sadly it taste better.
